Social Media Coordinator

The Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy and Ethics (CSAAE) in Owerri, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engagement, and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with CSAAE’s mission and goals

– Manage and maintain our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.)

– Create and curate high-quality, sufficiently engaging contents & blog posts for the Organization’s website (texts, images, videos, etc.)

– Grow our online community and increase followers

– Monitor and analyze social media metrics (engagement, reach, etc.)

– Collaborate with teams to integrate social media into advocacy campaigns

– Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices

Requirements:

– 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related field

– Proven track record of successful social media campaigns with evidence of the Handles managed.

– Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms

– Excellent content creation and writing skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Graduate in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
